Benefits

Core Benefits

Our People are at the heart of what we do.

We want everyone at Tensar to enjoy their job and achieve their career ambitions, so we offer a number of core and additional benefits.

Remote Working

Following completion of probationary periods and where the role supports, employees can apply to work from another location (e.g. their home) 1-3 days a week.

Pension Scheme

We offer a Legal & General pension scheme, enabling staff to choose how much of their pay they want to save for later life; we match contributions up to a maximum 6% of salary.

Life assurance

We provide life assurance cover, of three times annual salary, to all permanent employees, giving partners, spouses and families financial security, should the worst happen.

Learning and development

We want everyone at Tensar to develop a career that keeps them inspired and motivated; we always aim to promote from within. So, as well as in-house training we support people studying for HNDs, degrees and PhDs and in achieving professional qualifications, including charterships.

Where relevant, we will pay for one membership for a professional body each year e.g. CIPD, ICE, ACA etc.

Health and Wellbeing

Our Employee Assistance Programme offers free and confidential support and counselling for staff and their families, for matters including health, divorce, legal issues, debt and family matters.

We also have a network of Mental Health First Aiders across the UK, EMEA and APAC.

We periodically run financial health workshops for our employees to try and help relieve the stress that can be caused by poor financial health, by prepping them with the skills to make confident financial decisions.

Flexible Working

All employees who have 26 weeks’ continuous service are entitled to make an application to change their hours of work, place of work and/or the times when they work on a temporary or permanent basis.

Christmas vouchers

Tensar UK often choose to give staff a voucher at Christmas to say ‘thank you’ for their work during the year.

Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Pay for the UK

We have enhanced Maternity leave pay from statutory to three months full pay. Furthermore, we have increased paternity leave pay from one week's full pay to two weeks full pay. We continue to to take feedback on board and consider how we can support new parents and ensure we continue to work towards becoming an ever more inclusive employer.
