Tensar TriAx geogrid creates stiff mechanically stabilised layers through ‘interlocking’: as load is applied, granular particles partially penetrate and project through the geogrid’s apertures, resulting in their confinement and lateral restraint and increasing stiffness and reducing deformation of aggregates.
