Tensar invented and pioneered the original biaxial form of geogrid – until now the geogrid with the best performance in trafficked applications. Through continual development and innovation, Tensar is taking the grid form in a bold new direction, achieving even greater, long-term performance benefits.

Extensive research on the biaxial geogrid has allowed Tensar to identify the key features that affect performance: rib section profile, rib thickness, junction efficiency, aperture size and – of particular importance – in-plane stiffness. This led to the radical change from rectangular to triangular grid aperture, creating a revolutionary new product: TriAx.
