Basal Reinforcement

The need to construct embankments over weak ground is common to many projects. Tensar International offers solutions that avoid expensive and time consuming excavation and subsequent replacement of the soft soils.

Some projects require negligible post construction settlements. In these projects, load transfer platforms (LTP’s) offer an economical means of transferring foundation loads onto piles. Please refer to Foundations over Piles.

In other projects, the controlled settlement of a structure may be an option. Again, Tensar International offers basal reinforcement solutions that maintain structural integrity during these critical phases.
