Chaido (Yuli) Doulala-Rigby is the Chief Civil Engineer for Tensar International
Yuli has been working in geotechnical engineering for over 17 years. She graduated from the Technological Educational Institution of Thessaloniki, Greece with a degree in Civil Engineering and obtained a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from Newcastle upon Tyne University in the UK. She is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (UK) as well as a member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers,Geotechnical Discipline.
Since graduating, she has worked as a Tunnel Engineer for AMEC on the Jubilee Line Extension project in London, UK and then moved to Hong Kong where she worked as a geotechnical engineer for British consultant Mouchel for over 9 years, being involved mainly in slope stabilization and retaining structures.
Yuli joined Tensar International in 2006 as a Senior Design Engineer and in 2009 she became Tensar’s Chief Civil Engineer overseeing all designs produced from all Tensar offices around the world, apart from the Americas. Yuli is currently based at Tensar International’s head office located in Blackburn, UK.
