Mike Horton is Application Technology Manager - Stabilisation Systems.
Mike graduated with an honours degree in Geology from Aston University in 1986 and undertook research in Mining Engineering at Newcastle University until 1990. He has since worked for local government, consultancies and contractors throughout Northern England, Scotland and Ireland. He has been employed by Tensar since 2007 and has been involved with many wind farm access and commercial developments, reinforced soil retaining walls, bridge abutments and vegetated slopes up to 20m in retained height, within the United Kingdom. He is currently the Area Civil Engineer for Scotland and also Ground Stabilisation Manager within the UK and specialises in wind farm access design.
