Highways Manager Northern UK & Ireland
Craig Andrews joined Tensar International Limited in January 2006 as an Area Civil Engineer (ACE) for the Midlands, having previously worked for 18 years with Lincolnshire County Council's Highways Design Consultancy. He became an Incorporated Engineer IEng AMICE in 1997, a Member of the IAT in 2009 and a Fellow of the IHE in 2013.
He has specialised in asphalt solutions in the UK since 2010 and in January 2012, Craig was promoted to the role of Asphalt Solutions Manager. In 2013, this role evolved in to the Technology Manager for Pavements, actively looking at both full Pavement Optimisation and Asphalt Solutions. Craig sits on various national committees and forums associated with UK roads and pavements.
His current role is within the recently formed UK Highways Team, acting as the Highways Manager for Northern UK & Ireland, working alongside Tony Roe, Highways Manager for Southern UK. Craig and Tony have a strategic focus on supporting stakeholders in the UK Highways (roads and car parks) supply chain, with specific regard to full depth pavement construction, full / part depth reconstruction, rehabilitation and widening.
Craig and Tony work in close proximity to Tensar’s UK & Ireland ACEs and Tensar’s technical / sales / manufacturing support services.
